Ken and Sam were down for the weekend to see the little one. On Monday, Ken and I went to the local ski hill so that I could try out snowboarding. Truth be told, I wanted to quit after the first run. SNOWBOARDING is HARD! It kills the ankles, legs, and back. Also, the speed scares the hell out of me (a lot of mass accelerating a great distance = PAIN). However, Ken, the ever constant teacher, got me back up for a second run. The adrenaline from that "successful" run made all the aches and pains go away. We did a few more fun see-saw runs before I started to get really tried. That is when I started to make mistakes and new wooden friends.
